Vaccines have the potential to prevent serious disease and to help save lives. Unfortunately, some individuals can experience adverse reactions to vaccines and deserve help. Adverse reactions may happen immediately or be delayed by days, weeks or even months and years, making them difficult to identify.

What Causes Vaccine Injuries in some Individuals?
In my practice I have observed that there are usually several factors involved in vaccine injuries, including:
1) Inherited predispositions
2) Traumatic events during pregnancy, labour and delivery
3) Other medical interventions

Inherited Predispositions
I have learned from clinical practice that children and adults who suffer vaccine injuries are often affected by inherited predispositions that causes their immune systems to more easily over-react. A family history of allergies and auto-immune conditions is common and may predispose to vaccine injuries. MTHFR mutations and mitochondrial disorders may be more common.
A family history of tuberculosis, gonorrhea or cancer tends to be more common in those who are vaccine injured. Fortunately, homeopathy can address such inherited predispositions as most of them are not genetic, but rather epigenetic in nature, which means they are not permanent.

Traumatic Events during Pregnancy, Labour and Delivery
In my practice I have also observed that the mothers of many children who were vaccine injured suffered intense emotional stress during pregnancy and/or had traumatic deliveries. Being harassed at work, going through marital conflict or separation, being stalked, being chased by a bear, hiding a pregnancy in order not to lose employment, a ruptured uterus during delivery, going into shock from an epidural and babies being stuck in the birth canal for extended periods of time are all stories mothers of vaccine-injured children have reported to me.
My sense is that this creates an increased sympathetic tone in the infant, meaning that their immune system is already on a higher level of alert. A vaccination under such circumstances may be more likely to trigger an over-reaction of the immune system with inflammation and auto-immune phenomena.

Other Medical Interventions
Most of the time children who receive vaccines also receive other medical interventions or treatments, which may have a cumulative effect on their immune systems. These may include prenatal ultrasounds, medications during pregnancy, labour and delivery, vitamin K shots, antibiotics, Tylenol, sometimes anaesthetics and similar.
Nutritional Factors
Various nutrient deficiencies may increase immune system reactivity and there the risk of vaccine injury, especially a deficiency of vitamin D, which is extremely common. It has been observed that lower vitamin D levels during pregnancy can increase the risk of autism, which, in my opinion, is mostly due to vaccine injury. Vitamin D is an immune system regulator and helpful to reduce inflammatory and auto-immune conditions.
Healing Vaccine Injuries with Homeopathy
The homeopathic approach to healing vaccine injuries may include giving homeopathic remedies made from the actual vaccines that affected the person, as well as giving remedies to strengthen inherited predispositions and therefor the overall health of the individual, using special remedies to address any traumatic or stress imprints acquired during pregnancy or labour and delivery, as well as gentle organ support. Management strategies are always designed for the individual and their unique history.
Vaccine Injuries - The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, USA
Vaccines have the potential to trigger inflammatory and auto-immune conditions in susceptible individuals. These may include allergies, autism, ADHD, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, encephalopathy and other neurological problems as well as type 1 diabetes, lupus-like syndromes, MS-like syndromes and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, as it states right on the package inserts of the vaccines. The US National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has paid out in excess of 4 billion dollars in compensation since its inception in 1988. Since then, more than 20,428 petitions for compensation for vaccine injuries have been filed with the VICP.
Of those, 17,718 petitions have been adjudicated, meaning a formal decision was pronounced; 6,430 received compensation and 11,288 were dismissed. Interestingly, 4,250 of the petitions that have received compensations were filed between 2006 and 2017, suggesting there’s been a significant rise in vaccine-related injury petitions to the VICP in the past decade, although two out of three claims continue to be denied.
The list of conditions compensated is extensive. It is estimated that only 1-5% of all vaccine injuries are even reported. Canada does not have a vaccine injury compensation program with the exception of Quebec and the exact extent of vaccine injury in Canada is relatively unknown as the majority of vaccine injuries are either not reported or not recognized as as result of delayed reactions.

Delayed or Secondary Adverse Vaccine Reactions
Information on delayed reactions has only recently come to light as a result of research by teams of French and Israeli physicians. Again, I wish to emphasize that vaccine injuries generally happen in susceptible individuals. As vaccine schedules have expanded since the late 80s more injuries are being reported, possibly because larger amounts of chemical additives and adjuvants such as aluminum are proving more challenging for more people.
