Fee Schedule

Please note: All fees are listed in $CAD. Subject to change without notice.

• Child initial consult, general concerns (eczema, asthma, ear infections etc) - 60 minutes, $495
• Child initial consult, developmental or behavioural concerns - 60 minutes, $625.00
• Includes the initial interview plus extra time for me to review forms, medical records and reports, photos, videos, handwriting and art samples, as well as case analysis, and often an initial care plan. This usually takes several hours. Sometimes I need a little more information in a second consultation of 30-45 minutes before being able to provide the initial care plan.
• Child regular follow-up - 20-40 minutes - $165
• Child extended follow-up - one hour -  $300
• Child extended follow-up - 45 minutes - $240

Please note that regular, monthly follow-ups are needed for the management of complex cases. If follow-ups are delayed additional fees will apply due to the volume of material that needs to be reviewed and analyzed.

• Includes the initial interview plus case analysis of usually several hours and preparation of initial care plan. Sometimes I need a little more information in a second consultation of another 30-45 minutes before being able to provide an initial care plan, it all depends on the complexity of the case.
• Adult regular follow-up  - 20 - 40 minutes - $165
• Extended follow-up - 1 hour - $300
• Extended follow-up - 45 minutes - $240

• Emails that are longer then one sentence and/or require more than a simple clarification - in other words any kind of advice, are charged at a minimum of 15 minutes - $80. Please review my email policy here.

For children with developmental and behavioural conditions I like to see the child with their parent(s) for the first visit, even just for a few minutes, and the parent(s) alone for a second visit (30-45 minutes) if necessary, to complete the intake. If the child is older and able to converse well, most of the initial intake will be spent speaking with the child. 

Regular follow-ups are needed for several months to potentially years, depending on the severity of your child's challenges. Most children with an autism diagnosis require several years of care to heal and stabilize. Real healing happens gradually over time.

There are often improvements in certain areas within weeks or even days, however, it takes time for the gains to stabilize and become permanent. 

Please note that regular, monthly follow-ups are needed for the management of complex cases, especially in the first year. I will advise when I need to follow-up. If follow-ups are delayed, additional fees will apply due to the volume of material that needs to be reviewed and analyzed. 

If you have extended health care insurance some or all of the consulting fees may be covered.
