Psoriasis After a Dental Implant

A woman develops acute guttate psoriasis after a dental implant. She improves with a homeopathic remedy for puncture wounds, which relieves her. A week later she uses the same remedy on her cat after he was scratched in a brawl, saving her $300 in vet bills!

​A 43-year old woman consulted with me regarding the sudden appearance of a spreading rash on the back and right side of her neck. The condition started 2-3 weeks ago.

The rash looked like psoriasis and since I knew that the patient had no previous history of this condition I asked her if she had recently had an infection, for example tonsillitis. Sudden onset of psoriasis may be caused by strep infections, this is also known as post-streptococcal or guttate psoriasis.

It turned out that she had a post for a dental implant installed in her left lower jaw three weeks ago.

​I suspected that she had developed an infection in that area. She also had pain in the left side of her face as well as a headache.

I engaged in  a brief energy healing session with her, which relieved her symptoms

in minutes and then selected Ledum pallustre, a homoepathic remedy for puncture wounds. I also informed her that she rinsing her mouth several times daily with grapefruit seed extract could be helpful. She also took some zinc, vitamin C and large doses of powdered Goldenseal, a plant with natural antibiotic qualities.

The rash started to clear within 24 hours. Two weeks later I saw her walking in the neighbourhood with her kids. She flagged me down excitedly: "Hey Anke, guess what? Not only did my rash clear up but  a few days my cat had gotten into a scuffle with another tomcat and was badly scratched around the head. It didn't look good at all and all swelled up. I was worried he'd get an infection and that I'd have to take him to the vet again. Then I remembered what you said about this remedy being good for puncture wounds and I thought - well, the cat scratches are puncture wounds too so I gave him some of my Ledum! And it really helped him, everything settled right down and he was good to go the next day! It saved me about 300 bucks in vet bills, that's how much his cat fights usually cost us."
