Infertility due to Endometriosis

Several years ago a 39-year-old woman consulted me regarding her excruciatingly painful periods. She had been diagnosed with endometriosis many years prior and was also infertile. Married ten years, Natalie had never been able to conceive. Her husband and her had adopted a little boy five years into the marriage because they really wanted a family.

At this point her goal was just to manage her severely painful periods. There was no thought of achieving a pregnancy. One of the main things I gave her was an herbal complex called 'Herbotox' by a company called 'Genestra'.

A few years earlier I listened to a recording by a naturopath giving a presentation on a study she conducted using just this herbal complex for women with endometriosis. She had reported a high success rate of improvement and a few very welcome pregnancies to boot. I had also taken this complex with good results a few years earlier for my own very painful menses.

I also asked Natalie to stop drinking coffee, eliminate red meat and cheese and gave her evening primrose oil and a homeopathic remedy. After about three months on this program her menstrual pain had improved considerably.

​Another two or three months later she called me to tell me she was pregnant, just in time for her 40th birthday! She was so happy she sent me a bouquet of flowers. I thought that as her body healed from the endometriosis it started to function more normally, allowing a pregnancy to happen quite naturally. 

She had a healthy baby boy and was thrilled that her lifetime dream of giving birth to a child had been fulfilled.
